Optical position sensor
Jakubík, Tomáš ; Frýza, Tomáš (referee) ; Dřínovský, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with optical sensors used in computer mice and their possible use as a 2D plane positioning sensor system. The first part of the thesis explains the principles and differences in function of individual sensors, as well as a description of the methods used to determine to position of the sensor. The thesis also addresses the possibility of such a sensor connected to a PC using a device to determine the position of the sensor. In the next part of this work the option to build such a device with the use of microcontrollers is described, including a description of the functions of various parts of the device. Last part of the thesis deals with the control equipment and software processing of information by a computer.
Indoor Robot - Mechanical Construction and Power Electronics
Maťas, Marek ; Veselý, Miloš (referee) ; Žalud, Luděk (advisor)
The thesis is divided into several logical units. In the first part is described the topic of mobile robotics, construction, propulsion and control of mobile robots. Other parts are devoted to the design of robot’s mechanical structure, calculating the requirements for the proposed type of engines and drives. Finally, the control electronics for these engines is proposed, along with a program for microcomputer.
Weight sensing of beehives with long-term stability
Vozdecký, Martin ; Marcoň, Petr (referee) ; Mikulka, Jan (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is to describe the design of stable measurement of weight in beehives. Work evaluates suitable types of weight sensors and their effect on stability. The main part of the thesis is a custom design of electronic sensing the weight of the beehive and telemetry data to the user. The concept of engagement enables stable measurement of mass loading of independence on the ambient temperature.
Control software for autonomous mobile robot
Vojta, Jakub ; Marada, Tomáš (referee) ; Věchet, Stanislav (advisor)
Bachelor thesis focuses on software development for mobile autonomous robot with a microcontroller control unit. It provides an overview to sensors for mobile ground robots on a level necessary for control software programmer. It further analyzes microcontrollers and their architecture and programming. At the end of the thesis is theoretical description of deployed navigational software and communication protocol between control unit and computer.
Brightness control of light sources
Dostál, Lukáš ; Vorel, Pavel (referee) ; Huták, Petr (advisor)
Thesis is focus on brightness control of lighting sources. The first objective of the thesis is to determine basic concepts and explain interrealationships among particular magnitudes of lifting technology. Further is necessary describe functionality, particular light sources and thein possibility of use in practise. There is also outline issue of darkfall of particular types of sources and their evolution. The other part of thesis compare energy output of lighting sources and describe their possible future development. Further this thesis deals with options of regulating of brightness for LED moduls. There is also proposal of acceptable amperage regulator LED moduls including its software - microcontrol ATMEL AVG. Microcontrol ATMEL AVG Tiny 13 is programme in C language within computer environment AVR Studio 4 and will be record through the use of AVR Dragon.
System with Servos Controlled by Microcomputer
Veselý, Miroslav ; Kolář, Martin (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis was to investigate possibilities of controlling RC servos by amicrocomputer. A part of this thesis was creation of a device for purpose of browsing distant surfaceby a laser. The created device is based on Arduino platform and it is possible to control this deviceremotely by a computer application.
Model Train Controlled by Microcomputer
Kavánková, Iva ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is about controlling model trains by camera. It deals with the analysis, design and implementation of the embedded system for modeling track management. The main part is image processing in real-time and following evaluation. Designed and realized product contains model railroad with sensor, which are controlled by open-source platform called Arduino Mega 2560 and microcomputer Rapsberry Pi 3 model B. Final system was implemented in programming language Wiring and scripting language Python.
Computer Controlled Model of Vehicle
Deingruber, Ondřej ; Musil, Petr (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis covers the topic of controlling models using servos and motors. The target was to design and construct a functional model and use it to demonstrate the principles of controlling models by computer. The work was extended by implementing vehicle detection program used for combat of the vehicles. A vehicle moving on tracks, controlled by two DC motors and one servo was constructed. For the control of the vehicle was selected a combination of single-board computer and microcontroller. For the purposes of detecting the vehicle OpenCV library paired with a camera and IR LEDs was used.
Design of suitable HW and SW components for remote data transmission
Pietrowicz, Daniel ; Marada, Tomáš (referee) ; Němec, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the design of remote data transmission equipment, without access to mains power. The device will measure the voltage of the gas pipeline and send this information to the operator for processing. Analysis of today's technologies for long-distance transmission and based on the selected technology, the device will be designed. According to selected components, its power supply will be designed with the aim of long-term functionality and continuous operation.
Controlled power generator of current impulses
Gabriel, Viktor ; Vrba, Kamil (referee) ; Rampl, Ivan (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to design and realise microprocessor-controlled generator of current impulses, which are being brought in induction load. Thesis contains description of individual functional generator parts, mainly microprocessor program equipment. The text also aims for inductor design as an induction load and other solutions of power parts with the selection of the most suitable one. The generator of current impulses itself is realised on two-sided printed circuit board.
